Can you help?

November 21, 2009

Call for help: We are trying to gather enough cards to send to the Sandusky (Ohio) Veterans Home. It is a 427 bed facility and we are well short of that goal! If anyone has a  few extra cards laying around or a few minutes to sign even a folded sheet of paper, it would really help out! We need “thinking of you” or autumn cards for this delivery. Thank you!!!

Thank you!

Thank you Erica and Leea!

November 13, 2009

Thank you AGAIN to Erica D. of Upper Saddle River, NJ for her second batch of cards this month! It is going to be wonderful to be able to send Christmas cards to so many seniors thanks to our wonderful volunteers!

Also, thank you to Leea F. of Curryville, MO for the adorable autumn and winter decorations. Leea sent the cutest turkeys, pumpkins, gloves, and ornaments that are really going to dress up the doors and rooms of a nursing home. I’ll be making calls tomorrow to find them the perfect home!
